Ford RideLondon Classique

The Classique – a UCI Women’s WorldTour road race

Featuring the world's greatest teams and riders, the Classique has been part of RideLondon since its first edition in 2013 and was added to the UCI Women's WorldTour calendar in 2016.

Previously a one-day race in London, the event is now a three-day stage race involving two stunning stages in Essex and a final stage in the heart of the capital.

In 2024, the Ford RideLondon Classique will conclude in spectacular fashion on The Mall, with the world’s best female riders targeting a landmark victory to add to their palmarès.

The Mall has hosted some of the most iconic moments in British cycling history and was the Finishing Line for the 2012 Olympics Road Race and Stage 3 of the 2014 Tour de France. It has recently seen some of the world’s best female sprinters compete for the honour to stand on the top step of the podium at the Ford RideLondon Classique, with the last two winners on the final day also taking overall victory on the UCI Women’s WorldTour stage race.

The start and finish venues for Stage One and Two in Essex were announced at the end of 2023, with the race getting underway on Friday 24 May and finishing on Sunday 26 May.

Stage One will begin in the medieval market town of Saffron Walden, in north-west Essex, and finish in the historic city of Colchester. Maldon will welcome the race for Stage Two on Saturday 25 May, following successful stages in the last two years, before the showpiece Stage Three in central London.
