It gives amateur riders newer to cycling a unique opportunity to pedal past impressive London landmarks and through picturesque rural Essex – all on traffic-free roads.

Entries for the 2024 event are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so hurry to guarantee your place in this popular ride.

Please note general entry costs £65. You must be aged 16 or over to take part. If you're 16 or 17, you must ride with an adult aged 18 or over.

The Route

Like the 100-mile ride, the 2023 Ford RideLondon-Essex 60 started in central London on Victoria Embankment before coursing through historic Epping Forest to reach Essex. Riders then headed up to Ongar before turning round and re-tracing their wheel treads back to Southwark in central London for a mighty finale at Tower Bridge.
